As a Lumen Salon Hairstyles Stylist we've done away with all the hassles that come with traditional salon environments. As hairstylists, it can be exhausting and overwhelming to work with 10-15 other hairstylists in what the industry deems a "successful salon."

We’ve observed the 80/20 rule at play, where 20% of the hairstylists are busy, carrying the weight of managing a successful clientele, juggling a fully booked schedule and often taking on extra work because of their passion for hair styling.

When envisioning Lumen Salon, we set out to create a different salon environment and experience for busy hairstylist who are undervalued at big box salons.

• Our salon spans two stories, allowing hairstylists and guests to communicate without the interference of constant blow dryers and overlapping conversations. No more buzzing ears and mental over stimulation!

• Stations are strategically placed over 6 feet apart, providing both the hairstylist and client with ample space, avoiding the elbow-to-elbow feeling often experienced in traditional salons.

• We've streamlined our services to focus on color or extension appointments. This ensures proper booking times for the high-quality results we're renowned for and maximizes the hairstylist's schedule for consistency and dependability.

• We prioritized a schedule that prevents burnout and resentment. Our salon operates four days a week, following the TWFS schedule—working two days and having two days off. This approach allows us to deliver excellent results without relying solely on caffeine and minimal sleep.
